In the Brooks tradition, these grips are made of natural leather, the same long-wearing leather used for Brooks saddle tops. Each grip is made with a stack of leather washers. These washers are held together by 3 spokes, enabling the grip to be adjusted to the desired length. The standard length of each grip is 130mm, but each grip can be shortened to the desired length independently. The 70X Gravity and E-Performance Grip offers the perfect grip ergonomics for experts. The gravity and downhill grip offers maximum control and grip in rough terrain, even in wet and muddy conditions. The special textured zone of the front and bottom side provides optimal support for the fingers. The exterior side ensures the needed comfort. The clamp is located inside and the clamping sleeve at the (inner) third of the grip. This increases the shock absorption and comfort on the hand’s outer side. Various rubber compounds ensure a perfect grip level and high comfort. We only use the best possible materials to avoid sticky/gummy rubber. The personal grip size is what matters. With the 7OX grip, the sizes differ in diameter and shape. This grip is a bit more difficult to install because the clamping is inside and only on the inner third. The 711 features perfect grip ergonomics for long-distance routes and use in racing XC style mtb. A well thought-out, highly ergonomic shape offers an especially secure grip and maximum comfort, while a full locking inner sleeve allows for infinite adjustment, allowing the rider to get that "just right" feel. The scope of delivery includes one set of grips. Strategic clamp placement increases the shock absorption and comfort on the outside of the hand. In addition, the outside surface area was increased using every trick in the book, making the new 711 Tech and Trail 2.0 as comfortable as a wing grip despite not being one. As round as necessary and as flat as possible: with the 711 grip, the outer contact surface is pressed flat, thus reducing the pressure peaks many times over. The grip security is supported by the Ergobar. This results in a flat, slightly angular grip bottom and offers a perfect form fit. This allows the grip to be guided loosely while still always keeping the bike under control. The advantages of the grip are particularly noticeable at the end of a tough marathon, but they also increase the fun on long tours or quick trips after work. Silca Nastro Piloti is a 1.85mm-thick tape for aggressive riding and racing which provides cushioning equivalent to 2.5mm thick tapes of existing technology. The Asymmetric Piloti Texture inspired by F1 tire technology allows the tape to be wrapped in either a moderate-texture or high-texture format depending on preference. Inspired by advancements in running shoe foam and F1 tires as well as our own research into rolling efficiency, impedance, and damping, we realized that materials technology could allow for a significant improvement in bar tape. Using a laminate of SILCAthane, SILCAlon and 3M Visco-elastic adhesive instead of a single-foam extrusion, the tape can be optimized across a range of desired features. The resulting tape has a softer, more comfortable feel, higher wet and dry grip, better vibration isolation, and 3-5x the durability of existing tape materials.
